Since Mark and Jessica visited Amalfi Coast, they have been fantasizing about a Mediterranean wedding with lemon trees, olive branches, and country chic decor: Positano has been holding their heart hostage.

In the words of the newlyweds, their day should be ‘Mediterranean meets New York’.

“Mark proposed in Amalfi Coast, where we loved the breathtaking and peaceful views, food, wine, and unforgettable colours. We wanted to bring a touch of the Mediterranean to our wedding in New York, but then we thought: why don’t bring Newyorkers to Italy?”

So we started planning a Mediterranean Feast full of lemons, olive scents, delicious Italian food and rustic, colourful mise en place. Plus they had the sweetest Dolce Vita getaway car and fun interactive entertainment with Neapolitan rhythm!

Jessica looked absolutely stunning in her lace wedding dress teamed with an intricate chignon and a daisy bouquet enriched with typical hot pepper, while Ben didn’t keep it traditional choosing a beige linen suit, accessorizing with a massive smile. Their wedding dresses where made in an exclusive Italian tailor’s atelier.

The rustic church they chose didn’t call for much decoration, just simple white flowers. In the reception they chose olives, lemon and hot peppers as centerpieces and olive branch as placeholder, peace symbol for the Christian religion. At the end of the party, as in the classical Italian tradition, the newlyweds distributed confetti to their guests.
